we all live in pursuit of. Willy is the "American" man, blinded by the truth of the world. Willy is not willing to accept what is real, and important. Living in search of financial success while forgetting about the things in life we sometimes take for granted. "Death of a salesman" shows the phony blanket of security we all live under. "Death of a salesman" shows the abandonment, betrayal, and American dream we live everyday
