existence. As a fossilized form of the poetic imagination, it includes the contemporary socio-cultural realities of the American society.
So in brief, what I really intend to say is that individual thought has no more existence beyond the arena of society. When this thought is translated into a poem, it comes into its existence. Poem as an existence reflects the hidden dialectics and dynamics of the society out of which it is originated.
