in the right direction. Most of them have just called it quits and they returned back to they way they were before. As for the others they are stuck in the middle of a democracy and authoritarianism. It has been successful in specific places with similar cultural backgrounds like central Europe and Latin America. This suggests that culture plays a big part in creating a democracy and it isn't as easy as people may think.
