Many historical figures have been represented and depicted by others in days far past their own. Some accurate and some not. And in many ways, figures throughout history can be portrayed not only by their actions alone, but also how others surrounding them lived and influenced their life. Yet both Dauphins portrayed Joan the maid as a peaceful and divine spirit, one who was brave, courageous, and even in death found glory. From the Dauphins in the works, to any other person who may have influenced Joan, good or bad, we should thank them. For she truly deserves to be someone remembered not only by her actions but actions she inspired others to do.
