Andrew Lloyd Webber was born in London, England in 1948. He started studying music as a child, writing his first compostiton at the age of nine. Webber attended the University of Oxford and later the Royal College of Music. Some of his famous compositions include Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, The Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Evita. at the performance at the Stranahan Theater. Although I went to the performance not knowing what to expect and not knowing if I was going to like it or not, I truly loved it. Webber's music is the type that will move anybody by the emotions that can be felt through the music. Overall, the performance was a great experience and it didn't feel at all like I was just attending for a school project.
