the Vitruvian Man is the perfectly proportional man that Leonardo da Vinci drew. He may not have intended to draw a man that would fit in a circle and a square perfectly but that is just the way that nature works out. Once you have the perfectly proportional man you can design and build anything that you can conceive because there is nothing more stable than the circle and the square in an architectural sense.
