In the novel "The Wars" by Timothy Findley it is clear that Mr. Findley describes the destruction of war through the disturbance in families, death of animals and the destruction of cities and towns. He does this instead of using lots of numbers and figures to get his point across, which is that war is bad and that it is more than deaths of soldiers. I find the way that Timothy Findley shows the atrocities of war is unique and incomparable to another text.
