I couldn't read, I would definitely at least ask what they were about. The last thing that I took note of was that she talked of the father of one of her children. She said when he has a job, he brings her food, but I wondered why they don't live together. I believe that Kozol did a good job reporting the struggles that the family went through and I hope it did some good.
