Transcendentalism The Transcendenatlism views come from a philosophical and literay movemenrt from 1836-1860. The Transcendentalists have many views that oppose Christianity, including that humans are born good and that the world corrupts them. All in all, almost every belief of the Transcendentalists goes directly against Gods Word and Laws. Only through God we can achieve perfection, not through our own rational thinking or because we are perfect creatures. We are not perfect beings, we do not know all, and we need authority to guide and punish us when we do wrong.
