To go along with the idea that they are not truly in love comes the theme that love cannot be rushed. It needs to be thought out and has to grow slowly and become strong in order for it to last. You cannot rush love; first you must find out if it is true. The tragedy of their deaths just proves how immature their love for each other actually was.
