WOYZECK
<Tab/>WOYZECK, was composed by Georg Buchner; a German, leading three separate lives as a medical researcher, teacher, and dramatist. The exact date of composition is unknown because it is considered an incomplete work. Small fragments of the script were found at different date, and in no particular order. The most accessible of these compilations is by Henry J. Schmidt, who is also credited with the most accurate English translation.

plays innuendos to relate to political matters of the time. I would love to direct Buchner's work at some point in my career because it can be made extremely accessible, regardless of the vast differences of publication and performance. I had several images and ideas which actually slowed the reading process down thinking of the infinite options of directorial concepts. WOYZECK has sparked an obsessive interest in early German Romantic/Political works; two thumbs up.
