In the past decades, there have been changes that revolutionized the lives of many different ethnic and minority groups within America. Prior impressions molded during our early years of school and everyday life have led us to believe certain preconceived characteristics of women and minorities. The result would not only allow women to experience equality but men would understand true freedom from social injustice. I personally believe there have been accomplishments during the past decades that improved the gap between inequality and equality for women.
